The Raiding Party

Aname scrambled to her feet, making sure to take some last revenge on the helpless trashbots within her reach. She ran to the nearest building, ignoring the mans suggestion, but not bolting for a motorcycle yet either.

The raiders swarmed the town within a few seconds. They scoured the streets, ready to gun down anyone or anything that tried to stop them. The rest of the group parked by the side of the road, and ran into the city to track down the Sa'Kage.

The rest of the other group that called for help snuck in, most likely unnoticed, from the other side of the city in a full-scale ambush. There were about twenty raiders total in the city now, coming from every direction and quickly closing in on the Sa'Kage - their only intent was to kill them to establish their turf, and loot anything useful that they might have in the city.

The forger looked at the scavenger who called in back up and whispered "When?" The scavenger replied "Soon, on their way. 2 more forgers, 20 dustmen." The forger nodded "Then we hold out till then." Tey would make their way around the building they were in and find a place to hide.

The ambushers wasted no time in viciously raiding buildings by busting down doors and smashing through windows to try and find the hidden Sa'Kage. They headed straight for the area that they had seen them disperse in, and began to check inside of every building, ready to open fire and get their revenge. There was no way for the Sa'Kage escape or sneak out without being seen.

The forger would look around and see them closing in "Oh shit...... This may not end well for us boys. Its been good." The savengers would nod in agreement and all ready their guns.

"They're in here! Go, go!"

The raiders closed in quickly. They found the building where the Sa'Kage tried to hide in, and stormed into it from all sides. As soon as they saw them inside, they ruthlessly opened fire on anything and everything that moved.

"You're all gonna die, you little Sa'Kage shits!"

"That'll teach you to fuck with us!"

The Forger would send his bots at them and seek cover as the scavengers opened fire while seeking cover. Once they found it they would stay there and shoot. One Scavenger was killed in the process. Outside 30 Trash bots bounded down the buildings and streets toward the raiders. A large truck with twenty dustmen rolled into town, all the dustmen opened fire with less than military precision but probably better aim than the raiders. Two forgers were with them and one was driving but the other was shooting as well. Most of the dustmem were just yelling and screaming war cries but a few of them shouted "THIS IS THE SA'KAGE'S LAND! WE'LL TEACH YOU TO FUCK WITH US!" Others chanted Sa'kage, Dustmen and Reapers of the Wastes while firing.

"Shit! Look who came to play!"

The raiders were taken by surprise and a few of them went down quickly, but the ones inside continued their attack since they were partially pinned inside the building. The raiders that were still outside quickly took cover and tried to pick off as many dustmen as they could from the buildings and rooftops.

A few of them chucked grenades and improvised explosives outside, hoping to take out some of the trash bots or even the truck. The raiders were relentless, and they didn't hesitate to take any opportunities to take down as many Sa'Kage as possible.

"You'll all fucking regret this! You're all gonna fucking die!"

The forger driving swerved around to miss the grenades so the truck was not hit, the dustmen took cover behind the raised sides of the back of the truck. Some of the Trash bots were destroyed but the ones that were left just moved faster to reach their targets. The forger inside laughed as he and his two scavengers and small group of trash bots fought back with renewed fervor.

5 Dustmen took aim at the men on the roofs while the others shot any other raiders in the area.

" EAT THIS YOU RAIDER BITCHES!" One of the Sa'kage threw a improvised grenade a forger made because it was made of scrap he through it into a group and it was like an shrapnel grenade sending fragments flying through the raider ranks. Two dustmen went down but when they did other dustmen knelt down and either reloaded with their ammo or picked up their guns and used them to shoot also. The Sa'kage wasted nothing in battle. The truck would move to run over any raiders it could manage as it moved toward the building.

The raiders found themselves evenly matched in the firefight, but outnumbered since they had lost several men already. The raiders outside were able to stay behind cover well enough to effectively return fire, but the raiders inside were partially surrounded and had fewer defenses. The schrapnel grenade exploded in the middle of the group, ruining any chances they had of holding their position as it took down a few gunners and left their position open. They stormed out of the building to try and regroup, with about ten raiders remaining in the main group as they burst out onto a side-street to take cover from the large group of Sa'Kage reinforcements coming in on the truck.

The group that was already outside had about five men hidden and scattered across the city and another group of five which had barricaded themselves onto a rooftop near the main skirmish. They all concentrated their fire on the truck, trying to take it out as soon as possible.

The forger on the inside redirected all his trash bots large and small at the groups firing at the truck as did the other two forgers. Another dustman went down as the truck barrelled through. It went in front of the building and the forger who was driving bent the metal that was strewn on the ground and some metal they had stored in the truck into small shields and positioned them around the truck. Some of the dustmen jumped out and got behind these shields giving more room in the truck for the other dustmen. The people in side made their way down where they re grouped. The forger driving stepped out and had three different looking grenades on him and he smiled throwing them at one of the building he saw raiders in/on. They detonated and their contents were set ablaze. That forger hid behind a sheild and smiled "Hope this did some good, those were the last in the scrap michael needs to make more!"

Aname skidded into a building, searching for a way up to the roof. Once there she observed the raiders movement, and bounded from roof to roof to a building that would be relatively out of the way, keep an eye on the motorcycles. Entering this gunfight would be fatal for her, as she had little knowledge of the weapons and was useless against them.

The flaming explosives crash against the side of the building. One of them makes it over the barricaded edges onto the rooftop where it explodes, setting part of the wooden barricade on the roof ablaze. Another one detonates into the side of the building, causing severe structural damage, and part of the building begins to collapse under the pressure. Another grenade busts through a window inside, setting the interior of the building alight and cutting off the raiders' escape routes.

Aname would find herself on the rooftop behind the raiders who were still shooting towards the truck; they wouldn't notice her immediately, but her escape routes would be very limited after the building caught fire. One of the raiders on the rooftop threw a grenade down, landing in the bed of the truck below.

The other raiders made their way outside and split up; most of them ran through the city streets to try and find cover from the Sa'Kage, while some of them found their way into empty, abandoned buildings. Their groups were broken up, and they made their way through the city to try and escape from the Sa'Kage.

Most of the dustmen would see the grenade and jumped out one was caught in the explosion the other sought cover. The dustmen split their efforts shooting a the raiders on the ground, and the ones on the roof tops.

About five of the ten raiders on the ground managed to escape and regroup although the others were shot down, while the raiders on the rooftop were able to hold their position and stay behind cover well enough to protect themselves. The building was close to collapsing from the explosions and the flames, and some of the raiders started to make their way down the fire escape on the other side of the building.

It looked like the Sa'Kage were pushing the raiders back, but the raiders were still viciously fighting back even as they made their way towards the outskirts of the city.

The forger got together with the other two and said "We arent letting them leave are we?" The other two nodded and they began to focus and draw metal to their general area. The dustmen would start fighting harder and when they shot, they were aiming for kill shots. One of the dustmen shouted "NO SURVIVORS, GUT EM ALL!"

Aname glanced around frantically. She could easily jump to another building, although she was at a risk of catching fire herself. But she knew she might also be able to escape in the raiders group. She huddled down and waited until the last of them started down the escape and then quickly followed behind them.

The last raider making his way down the fire escape heard someone coming down behind him, and he frantically looked up, pointing a scrapped AK-47 up at Aname. He hesitated for a moment, deciding not to shoot.

"Who the fuck are you?! You're not Sa'Kage...but you're not one of us. Fucking talk, before I blow your damn head off!"

Aname glanced up, and then back down. "Move now! This building is going down any moment!" She started moving forward, and if she reached him she would push him down the escape.

The raider realized that he didn't have much of a choice - if he wasted time to take down this random girl caught in the crossfire, he'd be killed as the building collapsed. He turned and made his way down the fire escape after the other raiders, and decided to take care of the girl afterwards.

The dustmen kept the heat on the raiders while more and more metal gathered about the city. The forgers were almost done performing the end game.

They reach the bottom of the fire escape in a few seconds, with Aname following closely behind. The raider would turn around with his assault rifle aimed at her and pin her against the wall. The other raiders nearby also aimed their weapons at her. They were on the opposite side of the building from the Sa'Kage, so they were behind cover from their attackers for a few moments.

"You better fuckin' talk, before you get your ass shot!"

Aname backed up, holding her hands up clearly for them to see. "I was in the area, I was trying to steal one of their motorcycles when you guys came in and attacked. I'm on your side right now. And I could be very helpful to your cause."

The raider glanced over his shoulder to see what the others had to say. One of the raiders nodded and took a few steps forward.

"You're not a Sa'Kage bitch, are you? You must be against them too. Well...if you're gonna help us, then you're on our side. Don't fuck up, and try not to get shot. Come on - let's go."

They quickly led Aname down some side-streets away from the Sa'Kage so they could try and regroup with the rest of the raiders.

The dustmen would continue shooting not caring about aname being there. The forgers would now have 5 piles of metal about the size of cars. The metal would form into 5 large Dog like trashbots and would activate turn and roaring a metallic roar at the group of raiders bounding forward at incredible speed toward their enemies zig zagging to avoid as much fire and grenades as possible
