| The remaining heavy Runeborne soldier would make a final slash at the terror, slicing off a few inches of the end of its tail and then thrusting its blade into the terror before being completely swarmed by ghouls. He would be unable to combat the terror and the ghouls at the same time, and they would cause him to lose his balance, fall to the ground, and be unable to defend himself as the ghouls gradually ripped through his heavy armor.
As the terror wrapped its tail around Andarien, he thrust his longsword directly into the beast's tail, as deep as it would go. Andarien was partially pinned, but he attempted to break free and he was significantly stronger than the terror might have expected from a human at first. The other light Runeborne soldiers stayed within range of Andarien, casting a series of healing and enhancement spells on him and keeping him fully healed even during the terror's initial attack.

| Andarien held his ground against the beast, using his blade to block the beast's attacks while trying to free himself from the grip of its massive tail. The light Runeborne soldiers that remained stood up against the ghouls, slicing groups of them down quickly. The remaining Acolytes defended the Runeborne, keeping the ghouls at bay so they could continue casting their spells in safety. Although Andarien was being hit by the terror's attacks and struggled against being pinned, it seemed as if his wounds were quickly alleviated by his healers so he could continue fighting without hesitation. | |

| The terror noticed his healing and the other rune born holding their own and he roared again sending the ghouls into another frenzy. They swarmed the acolytes and the rune born and might be able to kill them all and drag their bodies off with the The terror quickly pushed on his tail sending Andarien back away from him by the shear force of the large and incredibly muscular tail. The terror looked at him after shooting some more spikes and roared "I will.....kill...one day. Forest......belongs to...Master." | |

| In their final assault, many of the remaining Acolytes and Runeborne were overwhelmed and torn apart by the ghouls to be dragged off. Andarien was thrown backwards several feet and landed on the ground on his back, but he quickly got to his feet and composed himself again.
"Leave this place and never return! I will rend you through, you foul beast!"
He raised his left hand, and it began swirling and forming a silver sphere made up of bright runic designs.

| The terror would snarl at him and then back away when the sphere appeared, once all the ghouls were gone he would roar and say "One day....Andarien...you die...my...hand" He would turn and bolt after the ghouls with the bodies they stole. Leaving Andarien to wonder what the point of this had been. The invasion force was definitely not large enough to be a real offensive, and what point was there in stealing the bodies? | |

| Andarien glared at the beast and launched the glowing sphere after him. It spiraled through the air swiftly, shooting out thin, sharpened tendrils in all directions as it spun towards him. It would eventually dissipate in the air after it had flown enough, but it might be within range to slice the terror with its tendrils. Once it caught up with the terror, it would explode in a massive aura of twisted light with the force of a grenade. | |

| The terror would be thrown slightly and scarred by some of the tendrils but it kept going. It was not hindered | |

| The War Priest knew that there was no point in chasing the terror. The battle was over - and it seemed as if it was all for nothing. He wondered what the reason was for the terror's attacks, since it didn't have a force large enough to threaten the Forest, and the only members of the Order that he had managed to defeat by sacrificing his own force of ghouls were replacable, soulless, summoned creatures that were no threat to anything outside of the Forest. Andarien composed himself and sheathed his sword on the remains of the silent battlefield, watching the terror and its ghouls disappear over the horizon. | |
