Bio: After the Cataclysm magic grew in the world. Things people had not known to exist were now prominent in this world. Many people began to discover that they had magic power known as Magis. All the elements were part of Magis, however one person can only possess one kind of element. Those with water Magis are strong against fire and weak against earth types. One type of Magis, the rarest and only a few are known to have it, is darkness. Darkness is strong against all Magis except light, and even then it can overpower it. Few are known to possess dark Magis and fewer light.

Eve Devries was the daughter of a noblemen in a foreign land who lost his fortunes and was killed soon after. He had two children as successors by his first wife, a son Regius and a daughter Eve. She died from illness after giving birth to them. Grief stricken, he found another women's arms to sooth his pain. This enraged his son, believing that this tarnished the image of his mother. After a few short years his father was forced to send his new wife away at his son's request after framing her for multiple crimes. After returning home to find her father killed, Eve discovered that it was her own brother who had executed him for “treason.” Enraged at her brother's actions, she swore to kill him with her own hands.

When the Cataclysm set in, Eve was imprisoned in a dungeon for an attempt on a nobleman's life. She stayed there, alone in the darkness of the dungeon, for the entire Cataclysm. She sharpened a piece of metal found in her cell and slowly cut her way through the lock on the cell door. When she escaped, she was astonished to find the guards dead at their posts, killed by a strange virus that had infected the entire world. During her time in the dungeon, she unknowingly came to possess dark Magis, a power not found in any but the darkest of souls. The dungeon she had been imprisoned in had drifted a ways from the mainland of her country and found itself colliding into Fort Harbinger. This is where she would survive until she had found out exactly where she was and how to leave.
