Through the darkened city streets and the wastelands of the devastated world known as Szrezia a voice would boom over the radio's and intercom systems again like it has been for the past year.

"Good people, a cataclysmic event has thrown the world in chaos, nothing we do can stop the devastation. All we can do is leave you with these final words. Survive, do what you must ::static and feedback:: Good spee-" with that the transmission would end. The world was a different place now since the cataclysm. An old, tiny, battered-up radio choked out its final words in the darkness of a secluded cave somewhere in Srezia. A few bystanders were gathered to hear its speech being uttered one last time before the transmission finally sputtered and died.

A solemn man wearing simple black robes standing near the radio clicked it off and turned to the others assembled around him.

"The outside world is dead. Remember where - and by what grace - we reside here today, young ones. Yet, our supplies run low. Our brethren must soon venture to the surface for resources..."

The broadcast ended and the Sa'kage were crowded around their fires and waited for their leader to address them. Ash Caldwell aka lawless walked up onto a platform and said "MY friends, brothers, fellow survivors. WE ARE STILL HERE! we have survived and we have created our own lives among the twisted metal, and now the metal twists to our commands! WE ARE SA'KAGE! WE ARE THE SHADOWS! THE DUSTMEN! THE REAPERS OF THE WASTELAND!"

Zalinda switched off her small radio, sitting on the table. She was sitting in a small, one room, makeshift hut. She tugged her hood up, which hid her face. Many people in her village didn't know of her ... job. She was the special scout. The only one that had ever really traveled more then five miles past their little settlement. She help deter any real danger from reaching The Smoke. And often found herself leaving the place for months at a time. For her next adventure she had decided to head out and find another settlement nearby - so they could trade.

She grabbed her bag, shouldered it and headed out the door.

Lilith clicked off her headset and walked out from an old cavern in the wastelands. She headed east toward the lake in search of chambers containing other Chroma. She was only looking for one chamber and had yet to find it. She was looking for the chamber that contained the man who brought her into Chroma Project. The man who brought her into hell and made her into a human weapon. The one who made her inhuman. She had been searching for his container since the cataclysm struck Chroma Project. She lived for one purpose, to murder the one who made her what she is now. (Will be edited later....I have to run for now sooo this is what this thread gets until I get back)

The Neap Tide Aquarians all huddled around a small radio in one area on the ruined beach. Surprisingly, they were able to pick up some signal. The radio was just about ready to go. When they heard what had happened, Corvus stood tall and faced his people bravely. Their ears were open to what their ruler had to say.

"My fellow Neap Tides," Corvus began, "we are now in a ruined world and I believe the area we are in now is the best place to be. We have water we need to survive and a land to walk upon whenever we want to see the sun. This is our home... and this is where we'll stay... any disagreements?"

The Aquarians shook their heads. They trusted Corvus with their lives and followed his orders without hesitation. Coruvs nodded to them and led them into the water without another word. The Aquarians obdiently followed.

From a short distance away a man from the Abyss was listening in. He heard the radio announcement and and Coruvs' order. Now, it was his duty to deliver what he had heard to his fellow Aquarians in the Abyss. Once the Neap Tides were all in the water, he darted a long way down the metal scrapped beach and dove into the dark depths of the sea.

Eve would stand to overhear the message from a small car radio in the destroyed cities around Fort Harbinger.

"The same that has been playing for a year now."

She had found herself in one of the most difficult places to survive. She only traveled during the daylight hours and barricaded herself in safe houses at night. The undead may seem quite unrealistic to most survivors who had never been there but to her they were very real. Their speed is dependent on the decomposition of their bodies. This meaning the bodies of the newly killed were as fast as they were when they died. This made the fresh ones the most dangerous.

"I wonder why these corpses are still animated and why are they attacking the living?" Eve thought as she slipped past a group feeding on a fresh, mutilated body. The flesh on it's neck and arms was nearly severed completely from the rest of it's body. Only bits of muscle and tendons held it together as it woke from death and tried to get up. "These things are disgusting," She said as she raised her whip, twisted it around it's head and severed it. "I think it would be best if I found a way to leave this place."

In a small, serene, peaceful village somewhere on a Srezian island that looked like it had maintained its natural grandeur, an old radio sitting on a table outside a plain and simple wooden home played its message once more. A man dressed in light leather garments passed by to listen on his way down a winding dirt trail which was dotted with ferns, wildflowers, exotic vines, and palm trees reaching up towards the bright, clear sky. Every day, he thought to himself, this place regained a little bit of its beauty, even after what had happened. This man knew that, with the vision of the Syndicate, the future may be just as bright as this for many others, as well. He could only hope that the rest of the world might be restored and rejuvinated, new and improved from its former self since the old governments and regimes were now gone, and the Syndicate would be the pioneers to start the movement for a unified future.

He smiled to himself as he flipped the switch on the radio, shutting off the static transmission to listen to the sounds of the birds chirping and the gentle rush of a waterfall somewhere off in the thick, wild, subtropical island paradise.

High in the mountains of Srezia stands a large forest. It's crystal ice coated trees create a labyrinth of mirrors. Through the turns and mirrored images and crystal spears of ice lies the ruins of a temple. Glistening diamond prisms reflected goal-black wings standing at a glossy table, the entire area seemed to be made of crystal prisms. The wings stayed at rest as a strange object played the message back to the being awaiting a new inquiry.

"It would too seem that the humans have yet to give any acknowledgement of survivors," and with those few words the being spread his wings and cast himself into the sky. Feathers glided down as the being drifted higher. As the feathers reached the ground they dissolved into dust and crumbled at the touch of their landing.
