Into the Forest

Armando would arch an eyebrow "That would mean he wants to be brought deeper into the forest. Is this person looking for the same thing you are?...or for you?"

Lilith seemed unsettled by Armando's comment.
"I don't think he would want anything to do with the chambers. As for me, well...I ...can't say."

He would nod "Well then, if he might be looking for you. We should be careful i guess eh?"

Lilith looked at Armando with a painful glare.
"If he is looking for me then being careful is the least of our worries. He's not exactly normal, even for Chroma."

He would nod "Right then...How is he not normal for a Chroma?"

"His stasis chamber malfunctioned and altered his genes. He's more powerful than most Chroma but also extremely unstable. That is why I can't say if he's a threat or if he's coming here to find me."

The visor would glow a deeper red as it readied to activate the augmentations, she might notice the difference in it "All right then....that could get ...interesting."

"The outsider has been captured."

"He's wounded."

"They're bringing him to the outpost?"

"It was Zaiya's idea..."

"The outpost? That's a bad idea, how stupid can that Zaiya be?" She looked over at Armando again. "Your visor, it's different. Are you planning on attacking him?"

Armando would shake his head "Im planning on defending myself if need be."

" I see, he's not likely to attack you or the dustmen should he get angry. I would be more of a target in his eyes. It was my fault that his chamber malfunctioned. I made him into a monster, even among his own kind."

Armando would smile and nod "Alright then let me revise my previous statement. Im going to defend myself and help you defend yourself, in need be."

One of the Acolytes stepped into the hallway and knocked on the door for the room that Lilith and Armando were in.

"Hello? Excuse me. I have a few questions, if you don't mind."

Armando would answer the acolyte "Go ahead, I have nothing to hide."

"This is about the intruder, am I right? You obviously know he's not a regular. You are right in that, he is a Chroma like I am. What are your questions?"

A few of the Acolytes stood in the doorway.

"Why is he here? He is not welcome. You may be our guests, but he is not."

Armando would walk next to Lilith and say "Now lets just be calm about this. I'm sure she doesn't know why he is here."

"I haven't a clue why he has come here and aside from his disdain for me I have nothing to do with it."

"I see. But you must understand why we are asking. We need to know about this man, and why he is here...and, of course, if he followed you. It may be a risk to the safety of our people. Please, tell us everything you know."

"I have not the information you want on him. He shouldn't pose any threat to you unless you provoke him. He's usually quite calm in tough situations."

"He poses a threat simply by being in the forest."

One of the other Acolytes spoke up.

"Is this man...wounded? Or in danger somehow?"

"I wouldn't know whether or not he is wounded. As for danger, if he were in danger he'd fight without hesitation. He would never run."

Armando would shake his head "Knowing our hosts if he intruded in the forest.....he might have no other choice but to defend himself." He would look at the acolyte and nod "No offense"

The Acolyte looked at Armando coldly for a harsh, silent moment, then nodded. "None taken..."

Another Acolyte spoke up. "If you could tell us everything you know of him, it would be a great help to us."

"I've told you all I know. Unlike you, Chroma do not have hive minds. We do not know what the other is thinking."
