The Raiding Party

A small raiding party of about ten raiders made their way to the western side of the lake. The group is made up of a gang of bandits vying for survival and doing whatever they can to find resources - food, supplies weaponry - anything that they can use. They come across the remains of a small, abandoned town near the ruined city of Akilina by the edge of the lake.

The raiders quickly invade the town to scavenge for anything useful. Several raiders stand watch while the others begin snooping through every building they can get into, relentlessly looting anything they can. They swarm like a pack of vultures over roadkill, hoping to find anything left that they could pick through before moving on to the next.

Three scavengers and a forger named Richard were also in that town and saw the raiders come in. They hid in one of the buildings near by and waited watching. The scavengers were eager to get up and leave but the forger eyed the raiders with a hungry look. They had vehicles with them that they could split half for the community half from him to scrap and make into more trash bots, He would look at the scavengers who were all high enough ranked or respected to have a pistol along with their spear and say "We taking those motor cycles and junk cars from them. I want them." The scavengers nodded and would obey order but had O_O faces.

The raiders had a few rusty, thrown-together old cars and motorbikes that looked like they were pieced together from old scrap with barely enough durability to even run. Some of the raiders were on foot, but the cars still had enough space to haul out whatever they could carry from the town. A few of the old cars already had what looked like scrap metal along with some more valuable scrapped materials and weapons. It was unclear whether the raiders were just swooping in for a quick run, or if they were moving in to settle in the town.

The first raiders, a group of three, entered the town to scout it out and check the area while the others waited. They carried light assault rifles and SMGs along with some miscellaneous weapons, although most of their equipment seemed old and worn. They quickly checked over the town, seeing if they could spot anything or anyone of interest.

The forger would smile and three smaller trash bots from his group of 15 would walk up to him "Go give our friends a proper greeting." The command his mind was giving them was jump down, kill them. The three trash bots would scuttle over tot he ledge and position themselves to jump. They would jump for the heads and if they landed on thier mark they would stab it with their claw feet. If they missed they would pursue attempting to dodge bullets and get to their targets.

He would create some more trash bots from some scrap up there ((weak ones)) and send them around the building to project his voice. "You have stumbled into the land of the Scrap lords, the Sa'kage, he reapers of the Wastelands. Leave now with your lives but drop your weapons and leave your vehicles behind."

The raiders below were caught off guard by the trash bots leaping down on them. One of the bots landed directly on its target, knocking the raider to the ground as he shot his rifle off blindly. One other trash bot leapt onto a raider's chest and it would be able to quickly shred through his lightweight leather armor, but he struggled to beat it to the ground and shot a few rounds into it point-blank with an SMG. The other raider was able to move away from the trash bot that was after him and he quickly retreated towards the rest of the group, firing his rifle directly at the bot.

The others immediately jumped to attention, and a few more raiders opened fire at the bots from the cover of their vehicles. They tried to hold off the bots long enough to attempt to retreat.

"Shit! Shit! Let's go, get the hell out of here!"

"Fucking Sa'Kage!"

The trash bots that were on thier targets would more than likely kill them before being destroyed since they were taken off guard, but the one that missed would be shot. The forgers voice would ring out again "Oh no, i didnt say you could retreat WITH your things" He would make ten more small rat sized trash bots out of some scrap and send the other 12 larger ones down to attack the raiders while the scavengers found spots to open fire on the raiders from the building.

"Fuck you, Sa'Kage bitches!"

The raiders took off running while a few of them offered some scattered cover fire for the rest of the group. The drivers slammed on the gas, quickly pulling away from the town to try and speed off in the opposite direction. A few of the raiders were able to jump into the cars or hang on as they began to sped off, but some were too far from the vehicles and were left behind to fend for themselves.

The cars would be to fast to catch and the remaining trash bots would swarm the left people. They scavenged and metal off of them and any thing that could be of us they left behind. The forger stood up and made a disappointed face "Damnit, they got away. Oh well, lets leave them a warning my pets." The trash bots would scour the city for metal wire and tie up the dead, or dying, or just injured raiders and tie them up hanging from a tall building, taking their guns first.

The raiders were easily overpowered - they were hardly anything more than civilians with scavenged equipment, trying to find enough resources to make a living. Their weapons and equipment were hardly worth the effort that the Sa'Kage had gone to, and they had nothing on them of any significant value.

The forger sighed "Oh well." He walked over to the scrap bots and used his energy to bring them back "Alright, lets finish the scrap mission we came for and go home."

Aname watched the scene from a distance. Once she observed the cars fleeing she made her way into the forgotten town, and scouted out the Sa'Kage watching them.

They would ore than likely not notice her as they loaded scrap onto the back of the trash bots and into their packs. The Forger was keeping watch over his people working, he was also commanding the smaller scrap bots to pick up pieces of scrap after they finished scavenging from the dead raiders. They would have a make shift pick up truck for the forger and his bots and their scrap finds then three motor cycles for the scavengers, and what ever they got from the scavenegers if they left any of their crappy vehicles.

Aname skirted the group, eyeing one of the motorcycles. If she could get a hold of that, and a fuel source, she would be able to cut her travel time over half. She continued to creep closer, choosing one away from the group, getting ready to attack, and then flee.

It would be hard, they were all parked next to each other and a good many small scrap bots were swarming about them doing things.

Aname paused, surveying the nearest threats. She had few weapons, but she was fast. She closed her eyes, in either prayer or concentration and then dashed from her spot. She sprinted to the nearest bike, bashing any bots out of her way as she went.

She would bash a small amount of them out of the way but the smaller ones would swarm her and more than likely trip he and take her down. Without the order to kill they would just hold her down, the scavengers would see her and laugh then go back to work as the forger walked up and knelt next to her "Well, Well, What do we have here? Who might you be?"

Aname made an effort to kick one last trash bot before getting taken down, but she continued to struggle. She spat in the face of the forger, spitting out some words in Japanese, that could be assumed to be nothing but venomous threats.

The forger would smile and wipe the spit off "Its not very nice to spit in the face of someone who could ill u pretty quickly, at least in this position. So lets try that introduction, a little bit nicer."

Although the raiding party was out of sight, they hadn't gone far. They stopped once they had gotten far enough away from the village and knew that they weren't being chased any more. The remaining raiders gathered around the few vehicles they had left and argued about what had happened, and what they should do.

"Those damn Sa'Kage think they're so tough! We need to regroup and go kick their asses!"

"Are you shitting me? Do you WANT to die?"

"Yeah...look at those little fucking robots they have, those things are messed up..."

"But look at all that stuff they had in that little town - and you can bet they were guarding more. Where else are we gonna go? There's nothing around here for miles. They took most of our stuff, killed our guys...I mean, we can either go back, or we can wander around out here and starve."

"They had, what, like three guys? Come on. Call your buddies and let's go back and fuck them up."

After a few minutes of heated arguments, the raiders finally decided to call in...a favor. They radioed for backup from another raider group, and they waited to make their move.

Aname attempted to spit at him again, still struggling against the robots. She continued to spit out obscene comments at him.

He would dodge the spit "ATLEAST! yell at me in english."

Aname resorted to glaring at him, stopping her struggling realizing it to be useless.

He would sigh "Fine, if you dont want to talk to me you dont have too. Ill just have them tie you up here and let u starve or die of thirst. Or you could CO-OPERATE."

The sounds of shouting and the rumble of engines suddenly filled the air in a harsh explosion of noise. On a small road into the town, a group of raiders stormed in on motorcycles like a grungy, scroungy strike force. There had to be at least ten or fifteen more of them - and they looked a lot tougher and more well-equipped than the other raider group that had been chased off only a few hours ago. They had organized an ambush, but before the raiders were only scavenging and looking for scrap...now they wanted the Sa'Kage dead, no questions asked.

"Come on out, Sa'Kage bitches! Let's play!"

A few of the raiders jumped off their bikes when they were within range of the Sa'Kage and their trash bots around the parked vehicles. They immediately opened fire with an array of assault rifles, SMG's, and handguns while they took cover behind the buildings.

The forger heard them coming and looked up, when he saw them he yelled "SHIT! take cover!" The scavenegers moved quickly as did the trash bots. One of the scavengers hiding in a building radioed in for help .The trash bots let go of their prisoner and moved quickly the forger looked at her "i know you apparently dislike me but if you dont want to get shot, i suggest you come with us." He would run to one of the nearby buildings. A few trash bots went down.
